Gerald Ryan, Co-Chair - with more than 25 years experience working in the fields of non-profit public relations and marketing, he is also a singer and musician who performs solo and in the popular area duet, “Ryan & Ortolani.” He is currently working on his first studio CD of original music.
Christine Michelini, Co-Chair - is the Photo Archives and Resources Manager at the Peabody Essex Museum. She is also a photographer, painter, and music aficionado.
Renee Austin - a lighting designer who works on residential and commercial projects throughout the North Shore. Her avocations include painting and photography.
Derek A. Barr - Derek is an instructional technologist at Salem State College's Center for Teaching Innovation. In addition, he is a freelance graphic designer specializing in multimedia and print solutions for individuals and business. He is actively involved in the community and donates time to consult for many projects throughout various North Shore communities.
Kristine Doll - current Chairperson and professor of Foreign Languages at Salem State College. She has published numerous scholarly articles on poetry, translation, and language acquisition. Her latest book, Joan Alcover: Elegies, is a collection of poetry translations from Catalan to English.
Nick Giarratani - Nick is currently employed as the manager of the Salem State College Music Department's recital hall, recording studio and electronic music lab. He is an accomplished singer, songwriter, guitarist, and performer with over 25 years experience in the Boston music scene, who has performed with a variety of ensembles in venues all over New England. He is also an experienced recording and live sound engineer and has worked with a variety of artists including: the Herb Pomeroy Band, Peter Mulvey, the Chamber Jazz Trio, the Boston Horns, and a variety of others.
